Completion Date
Films and manuscripts have to be completed at the time of submission and belong to any period in range from 2000 to 2026 year.
If you have older work, feel free to send it to us as well. Sometimes a real treasure is hidden in most unexpected places or even time line.
Film Length & Genre
Films are selected on the basis of originality, innovation, story composition and contribution to science fiction and fantasy genres.
Films may be animated or live action
Short Films must be no longer than 30 minutes
Feature Films must be no longer than 100 minutes
Films exceeding 100 minutes for feature films or 30 minutes for shorts may still be considered for festival awards, but will not be part of the programming
Films and scripts have to be science fiction or fantasy genre. They could be placed in any dimension or universe, classic sci-fi, mockumentary, science research journals, futuristic comedies and even ghost stories will be welcomed here.
Scripts & Stories
Short stories and scripts must be no longer than 30 pages of A4 size.
All scripts and short stories have to be sent to us in PDF format.
If the script is written by more than one author, all relevant names must be provided along with relevant consent of all co-authors.
Ownership of the work
By submitting your work, you confirm that you a legal owner of all author rights associated with your work and may prove it if challenged. Make sure that you hold all relevant permissions, including public screening and music used in your film.
Ideally, all short stories and scripts submitted, should have WGA or similar Copyright certificate, confirming authorship.
How to submit
There are different routes to submit your work to us:
upload your work to Youtube and Vimeo video platforms and make them private, so only those with a direct link may watch it. Send us direct link to your work after that. Please, do not try to upload or send your files directly to us.
scripts or short stories have to be uploaded to a secure website in PDF format and made downloadable.
The best choice would be creating your project page on Filmfreeway, Festhome, Shortfilmdepot or similar services for writers and filmmakers.
Language of submission
Foreign language films must be made available with the original language soundtrack and English subtitles.
All short stories and scripts must be written in English.
