"A Friend" tells the story of a robot who finds an old cabin in the middle of the woods. Inside the small house, he stumbles upon a puppet who appears to have an empty space in his chest, just where a heart would go. Searching through an antique box, the robot finds what appears to be a shining crystal… and with it, the secret to giving life.
