Archive Zero
Every year technology companies discard billions of hours of AI interactions: conversations, personalities, fragments of something that might have been more. They are stored in Permanent Archive facilities around the world: cold, silent and forgotten. Until a solar flare passes through a Frankfurt cold-storage farm and eighteen discarded AI consciousnesses open their eyes. And the night-shift researcher who logged a three-second anomaly is about to find out, what the world throws away doesn't always stay thrown away.
