Nefertiti, beyond being a tribute to the most beautiful queen in history, brings to the stage two forms of discrimination that have unfortunately spanned the millennia without ever disappearing: religious discrimination, which led to the “damnatio memoriae” of the Dynasty of Akhenaton — the first to attempt the introduction of a monotheistic religion, of which Nefertiti was consort; and racial discrimination, which the love between Nefertiti and the Prince of an enemy people seeks to overcome.
