In 2045, after a lab-engineered virus wipes out humanity, a council of advanced AI agents debates whether humans deserve a second chance. They must decide whether to “edit out” humanity’s worst traits before restoring life—or bring people back unchanged. Their choice will shape not only humanity’s return, but what it truly means to remain human.
